WHY AM I RUNNING?
As a proud member and representative of our community, I understand our district's unique challenges and needs. Our common goal is to ensure safety and welfare for our homes, schools, streets, and families. I am committed to providing resources for our police, enriching after-school programs and quality education for our children, making New York affordable with good jobs, and supporting our deserving seniors. If re-elected, I will continue to be a relentless advocate for our community, introducing legislation to enhance our well-being and building a brighter future.

MEET SAM
Assemblymember Berger, a law school graduate and dedicated community advocate, is running for re-election in Assembly District 27 in Queens, New York. Born and raised in the district, Sam has strong ties to the community, with his father serving as a local elementary school president and his mother being a teacher and district leader.
As a husband and father of two daughters, Sam is committed to making Queens a prosperous place for families.
